You're good at what you do. The title is right, the salary is right, and still something keeps asking whether this is it. As a career change coach in Sydney, I work with executives and business leaders at exactly that point. Career change coaching for executives starts with that question, not with the CV.
The first step is simple. The free Life Audit shows where the gap sits between your outer success and what matters to you.
Career change, or a change in how you work?
Not every restless leader needs a new career. Some do. Others need to change how they work, what they say yes to, or why they do it. The hard part is telling the two apart from the inside.
In the Suited Monk philosophy, your Suit is your role, title and reputation. Your Monk is your values and what matters to you. When the two drift apart, that distance is the Gap. A new title alone rarely closes it.
I have seen this pattern across more than 20 years in global business, and it is the reason I start a career change with the inside before the outside.
What an executive career coach does differently
Most career coaching starts with the CV, the LinkedIn profile and the next interview. Those matter later. As an executive career coach, I start earlier, with the decision itself.
Your values first
What you want the next chapter to be about, and what you are no longer willing to trade for it.
Your real options
Senior leaders rarely lack options. They lack a clear way to choose between them.
A move that holds
A change built on who you are lasts longer than one built on the next title.
That way of working comes from 5,000+ hours of coaching leaders on three continents.

A career change story from China
A vice president I coached in China came to me because his personal values no longer matched his company's. He was successful, and he could have stayed. Instead, we looked at what he wanted his work and life to stand for.
He weighed three very different options: opening a bar back home in Italy, starting an automotive consultancy in Europe built on his industry experience, or doing something with wine, such as a vineyard. Each option said something different about who he wanted to be.
In the end, he made the move back to Europe.
That is the order I work in: values first, then options. When the values are clear, the options start to sort themselves.
My own career change: China, Spain, Sydney
I have made this kind of change myself. I spent 12 years in China, 8 of them running my own training business, then 6 years in Spain, and I am now based in Sydney. Each move asked the same question: what do I keep, what do I let go of, and who do I want to be next?
That is why I don't treat a career change as a job search. It is a life decision, and it deserves that kind of attention.

Career change coaching FAQ
Do you coach in person in Sydney?
Yes. I meet clients in person in Pyrmont, Sydney, and work online with leaders across Australia and overseas.
Which languages do you coach in?
English and Dutch.
I'm successful. Is it strange to want a career change?
Not at all. Success and restlessness often arrive together, and the restlessness is worth listening to. I wrote about this in why you can feel stuck in your career even when you're successful.
How long does a career change take?
It depends on you. Clarity often comes within a few sessions, and the outer move follows at your own pace.
What is career change coaching for executives?
It is 1:1 coaching for senior leaders who are thinking about a new career, role or direction. We start with your values and what you want the next chapter to be about, then look at your real options and plan a move that holds. If a restructure has forced the question, see my page for leaders facing redundancy in Sydney.
